Hotel Bauer, a company founded on December 25, 1979, by the couple Osmar Manoel Bauer and Ionedes Borges Bauer. Small farmers who lived in the Faxinal neighborhood, rural area of Torres. With two children, they moved to the center of the city, as Seu Osmar bought part of a farm from his uncle, Mr. Rui San Leon. Then came the birth of the third daughter, Neisa.

Ionedes worked in a butcher shop and rented houses, one of the pioneers in the city. During this period Mr. Osmar's mother died, but before that she set aside the assets for her children. Osmar received a lot with a wooden house. On this lot, the couple, together with their first son Paulo César, built some rooms for rent.

Despite renting the rooms, the money saved as a result of working with agriculture and the butcher, they still depended on Osmar's father, his sister and a few good friends who knew them to be able to build the future business.

Initially, the Hotel Bauer had only sixteen apartments, on July 31, 1991, eleven more apartments were opened, making a total of 28 apartments.

The company has always been known for its hearty breakfast and family service. Realizing that changes were needed, Paulo César, administrator and son of the founders, saw an opportunity starting the construction of another hotel building, however, this one has a differential: the accommodations are apartments with kitchen and barbecue option. This building was inaugurated in 1999.

In 2003, the company reformed the two oldest buildings, removing carpets and artifacts that became inadequate over time, always seeking innovation.

Due to our time of life not being so young, we are in continuous maintenance so that our guests enjoy all the comfort that a family hotel on the beach can offer.
